Itinerary: The starting point is the center of Aleksandrovac near the fountain. Tourist groups head out from there to the Museum of Wines and Vineyards and the Hometown Museum of Župa, and then the to the Ivanović wine cellar, owned by Dragoslav Ivanović, for wine tasting and lunch or dinner. From there, through the valley of Vukov Do, now an urban area, after 40 minutes of walking, one arrives at the Lukarevina Valley settlements (poljane). Lukarevina belongs to the group of seasonal winemaking settlements and is located in a mildly steeped valley facing southeast, at 500m above sea level, a 30 m rise from the last stop. It is 1500m away from Aleksandrovac, 2km using the roughly paved road. Visitors will be able to see the several types of rural architecture of houses: ground floor houses, two storey houses, houses built from different sorts of materials, such as wood and slab.

From Lukarevina, the trail leads northwest to the Hill of Jeldovšte, offering magnificent views over lower Župa and the town of Aleksandrovac. The first summerhouse is located here. An hour’s walk from there, half-an-hour by bicycle using the roughly paved road, you pass through acres of vineyards and splendid natural surroundings. Passing the village of Drenča you arrive at the Monastery Drenča, dedicated to the Holy Mother. This exquisite spiritual, cultural and historical monument dates back to the second half of the 14th century and is the endowment of monk Dorotej and his son Danilo the Third, a Serbian patriarch.

After a short rest in the monastery, the trail goes further through the village of Drenča, and then through Ražanica, where tourists have the opportunity to visit the famous winery of the family Mihajlović and sample wine, and then head further to the nice Župa village of Tržac, where they can sample exquisite Župa wine in the Spasić wine cellar owned by Milan Spasić, as well as the wine cellar Minić, owned by Mića Minić. Return to Aleksandrovac goes thorough another poljana, Markovina, all the way to the suburb of Aleksandrovac, Borje, where you can visit yet even more of Župa’s famous wine cellars. Another summerhouse is located near Markovina. Upon their return to Aleksandrovac, guests are able to refresh and have lunch in one of many restaurants in the city, offering an array of gourmet foods.
