Vrnjačka Banja:
The village of Gračac is situated halfway between Vrnjačka Banja and Kraljevo, 4 km from the main road, on the slopes of Mount Goč. Spread over a large area and scenically beautiful, it is excellent for rural tourism. Tourists can enjoy healthy food prepared according to traditional recipes from locally produced fruit, vegetables, cheese, kajmak, and honey. Especially attractive are traditional crafts produced by the villagers, such as embroidery, crochet and knitted work of diligent local women, and visitors can also learn about the traditional technique of making barrels.
Another attraction is old Smiljko Debeljak’s water mill, where flour is still made in the traditional way.
Gračac features St. Sava church, over 800 years old, built by St. Sava and Simon Nemanja. According to some accounts, it is older than Žiča monastery.
The villages of Stanišinci and Goč are located on Mount Goč, at over 900 m above sea level. In addition to rural attractions, visitors can enjoy winter sports on the nearby ski tracks. Mount Goč offers possibilities for long walks in beautiful, unexplored forests abounding with herbs.
Trstenik:
The villages of Popina and Brezovica are located on the slopes of the mountain Goč, on the Old Crafts trai, 7 km away from Trstenik. Beautiful nature, picturesque scenery of the Popina river valley, wooded hills and hospitality of the villagers make an interesting offer. Visitors can spend their time walking, picking herbs, doing some farm work and studying old crafts skills (stone carving, wood carving, weaving). Halfway between the villages of Popina and Brezovica, if you turn left and cross the river Popinska, you will find the Krstić family house the oldest house in the village (over 250 years).
The artists and craftsmen association “Riznica” seeks to revive old crafts (weaving, woodcarving, pottery, etc.) with the aim of producing usable objects and authentic souvenirs. This is an opportunity for an unforgettable active holiday for all those who wish to learn a handicraft while resting in a healthy environment
Aleksandrovac:
Ethno village Latkovac, 5 km from Aleksandrovac, with its attractive rural houses, gives visitors an opportunity of an active holiday in creative workshops. Zupa region rich in vineyards is interlaced with Wine Trails that provide visitors an opportunity to visit well known wine cellars and taste top class wines.
